Don threw the tennis ball again as he walked along the beach. He had been walking for weeks through the outback with Stan and was glad to finally be at the coast though he was on edge not knowing anything about were he was. The great wolf chased the ball for about fifty feet before finally grabbing it. Don chuckled careful not to get too close to the water strange things seemed to happen when he was in it and he understood none of them. Stan was happy though being able to run free and not have to worry bout trees and roots made him happy he was always getting caught up back in the states. Don ran to catch up with the wolf and retrieve the ball it was a tattered teeth marked ball but it was all he had to use as a dog toy.

Another day spent working at the beach shack meant another couple of dollars in Pan's back pocket. Pan didn't mind to work too much as she was down on the beach the whole time and she got discounts and freebies even sometimes on her favourite things. The one thing Pan loved to do was surf. Out on the open waves she just felt at home which was always that easy when you’re an orphan. Sure her brothers like to surf to do a quite a number of the Australian population did, but neither of them could hold a candle to Pan. She was a lot more flexible and was able to bend and move with the board keeping her balance more easily. And also being the smallest of the three triplets she had a naturally lower center of gravity that she defiantly used to her advantage. Though she had notice that in the last month or so she had been able to read the water a lot better and at times it seemed that the water read her mind which she found freaky but was glad as it meant in a few case she didn't have to bail out off of the board.
But now Pan's shift at the beach shack was ending so she made sure the drinks bar was clean and that everyone who was due in with surf boards, jet skis and buggy boards and checked back in. She didn't want the owner telling her off for not checking everything was back that should be before she handed over to Connor who was on the shift after her today. When Connor arrived it was relativity quite for the time of year so Pan wasn't needed to help hand things over to him like she sometimes did when there was a rush on at hand over time. So once she handed him the keys the shack was his responsibility and there for she could not be blamed if it got burnt down. Slipping over the counter Pan chucked on her flip flops as she started to head down the beach as she didn't want to go back to the orphanage just yet as she wanted to enjoy the sun, sea and sand while it was out.
So she walked along the beach leaving a trail of footprints in the wet sand behind her. Some people didn't like walking on the wet sand by the sea because of the squelchy feeling that you got between your toe's but Pan didn't mind it so continued on down the beach. Looking around Pan could see some surfers out catching waves with some younger kid’s buggy boarding next to them. Further out in the bay there was two lads on Jet Ski’s quite literally running circle's around each other. Though as she walked further down the beach to the place called The Cove she found there was less and less people around. Though all of a sudden a tatter old ball landed at her feet and only what she presumed to be a big dog came pounding after it. Before it got there she picked it up and threw it the other way to see if it notices. "It's over there now go and get it." Pan told the dog as she continued walking that way.

Don watched as Stan went thundering after the ball which had stopped in front of a girl taking a walk. Don saw ten different outcomes flash through his mind only two would have been good or at best okay. Don almost called out to Stan when the girl picked up the ball and tossed it the other way. Don didn't here what she said to the wolf but had a idea from the look on her face. He slowed down to a normal pace and watched as Stan bolted for the water. "Sorry bout that Stan loves to play and we both love the water though i try and stay out of it when I can its been nearly two years since i was able to see a beach."
Don studied the water it always called to him at odd moments. "I'm Don Markidas or you can call me shadow either one works." Don said with a slight laugh as he held a hand out. "That crazy wolf over their is Stan i raised him since he was a pup in Raleigh."
