Kaine was born the oldest of the three Bones triplets and the most athletic and protective. He and his siblings were abandoned when they were very young, on the steps of an orphanage. He quickly started to develop the urges to protect and defend and from the age of 3 on he took care of his more book smart brother and his gentle sister. He was more street smart and always felt like he was battling something in himself. He hated his name from day one. Their first orphanage was run by a church and they were told bible story after bible story. He realized something about himself when everyone talked pointed to him while telling the old story of Cain and Able. It was as though they were condemning him for his name.
From that day on Kaine swore to outlive his name and be a good person but the road wasn't easy. He had a naturally protective personality and living in the child care system and having to turn into an adult so quickly is far from easy. he had to take care of his siblings and always felt like he had to keep people from teasing his siblings. He hated getting into arguments or fights but he learned quickly that it didn't matter if he didn't' like it it was necessary. Somehow he always had an air of compassion to his righteous fury, though. Whenever he was forced into a fight he tended to just avoid blows until the aggressor was tired and he would always try to help his attacker up afterwords. His much preferred type of argument form however was verbal. He was always a pretty smart guy when it came to words. Sure his brother could probably beat him but most others couldn't. They always ended up walking away with a "well... well... so are you!" angrily tossed back at him.
Kaine's need to protect and outdo his name always seemed to drive a steak between him and everyone else. He was close with his siblings and it was hard not to be, but he always felt like there was a part of him they would never understand, like there was a darkness in him that he had to overcome. He got a job working at a local fast food place near the orphanage to bring in some money. He's good at what he does because he has great inter personal abilities but it's not exactly what he wants to do with the rest of his life. Recently Kaine's powers were blessed on him, he didn't realize immediately though. He realized he had them when he got an award at work. He was so proud and happy that he instantly went out to to roof, his favorite place in the world. The wind picked up and he started to stand up and play in the wind until he started floating on it. Shocked he dropped and swore he wouldn't tell anyone. It was just another thing for him to over come.you can sing along

RP EXAMPLE:
Payton Evans, Paypay to her young brother and Payts to her older sister not that she’d ever tell, woke to the singing of her alarm clock. Made a wrong turn, once or twice. Dug my way out, blood and fire. She rolled onto her back letting her titian hair splay out on her bed. She was up before the freaking sun, which she had to be today. She smiled at the song knowing it was exactly not what a young lady was supposed to listen to. Her eclectic music collation and her beautiful books were the closest to rebellion she ever got. She heart and scuffling above her and decided it was time to get up. She lifted her bare legs over the side of the bed turning on the light and turning off the iPod radio. She hadn’t forgotten the day; she would never forget a day like this. It was the end of her world in every way.
Part of her would never stop hating Mel for escaping her fate, but honestly her husband was nice and Payton had always liked him so she couldn’t complain. Besides, Mel had yet to stop apologizing for forcing this part on her younger sister. She honestly felt bad for the guy she was meeting today. He could have had Mel, a tall statuesque red head who was effeminate and perfect, instead he was stuck with a short slightly tomboy academic with strong opinions and even stronger manners. She looked at the closet to see a navy blue dress and matching heels with a headband hanging from her closet, obviously a gift from her mother in the hopes she would wear it. That was not happening.
She walked into her closer pulling out the peridot green top and black pants she had selected after work last night and headed to the en suite bathroom turning on the shower and shucking the tank top and underwear she had on before stepping in. She let her mind wander to all the things she would rather be doing today. She loved her shifts at the bookstore. Since getting the job at 16 because of her English teacher, Payton had yet to be late to a shift none the less take a day off. That was a lie, she had talked a day off once, but she’d had no choice it was her sister’s wedding. Now she was the manager of sales and her parents were all but pleading with her to quit and come start her internship at the company. She insisted that she would start the internship when she was ready. They conceded knowing they would not win.
After about ten minutes, most of which was spent relishing in the feel of the warm water more than it was washing, she got out and started to brush her short hair. She pulled on the clothes and the jewelry she had set out before looking herself in the full length mirror she had. She looked pretty to her own eyes, though she had little like of her own appearance, the 5 in heels did help though taking her from a lowly 5’2 to a nice 5’7. She gently ran her hands over the graceful golden cross that never left her neck. It was a Christmas present from her mother, Melody and she had gotten matching ones when she was 12 and he had never taken it off. She looked to her window as the sun was coming up. She smiled and grabbed her purse and a hugely thick book, Wizard’s First Rule from the Sword of Truth Series, then she ran down stairs.
Payton looked up at her mother and kissed her cheek with a smile as she grabbed a to go cup of the coffee her mother made. They had servants, though they usually showed up later in the day, and no chefs. Her mother loved cooking and having grown up middle class never found use of chefs. “Where are you going, your meeting isn’t for a while.”
“I know I’m going to drop by the bookstore for a while just to make sure everything’s in order. Tell Daddy and Charles good morning and that I love them.” She said Walking out with and orange. Her mother agreed begrudgingly and she was off. A Few hours later she showed up at the restaurant they were meeting at and was taken to the reserved table. She opened up her book and started to read the romantic adventure on the page wishing she could be Kahlan, but knowing her place was here at the alter with a man she didn’t know.
